First sleep away in Mayer,Az in our new camper with some minor changes for comfort

Forgot to take any pics so just added some old pictures. The camper worked out ok we added a 1.5" tempur-pedic mattress on top of the serta mattress and it is very comfortable for sleeping. The only real problem is space not a lot of room in this camper and my wife is a little short so getting into the bed is a small problem for her. I got her 2 fold out step stools to get up there with my help. Another thing I just finished was the tabletop that came with the camper is about 30" diameter. So with space at a premium I ordered another base plate at E-bay for $8 this is the diecast thing that attaches to the pipe that holds the table up. I then went down to home depot and bought a ~ 18" dia. table top this is the round plain wood about 1" thick 18" dia that I made a lazy susan for our table in the house a few years back. I stained it a sedona red which is a nice reddish brown stain you can get at the home depot. I then used polyurethane to seal the table let it dry and attached the table in the camper. This size table is a lot easier to get around in side the camper and is easier to store too. The 30" I just stored in the garage and doubt I'll ever need it since for 2 people the 18" table is big enough. We actually camped in my brothers driveway since getting a space over the labor day weekend was just about impossible. Mayer is a little over 4,000 ft elevation so the night were cool and we both slept very well both nights. Looking forward to some more trips in the camper. FYI if your thinking about buying a truck and truck camper buy a 3/4 or 1 ton truck these small light weight campers are ok but I miss the full size truck campers I used when I was younger.

Ps. Forgot I added ~ $1,000 in new tires for the truck these are Cooper Tires E-range ie 10 ply tires and make a big change for the better in handling, ride an road noise if you need an E -range tire I highly recommend these tires from Discount Tire.
