Nothing we need and I'm reminded of that old saying "something wicked this way comes".  A few thousand really nasty people is the most likely end result. 
 

New Year 2024 and same old problems

Might start posting again. Lot of changes since I last posted on this blog. Our civilization is insane. I fear WWIII and the Nuclear options it may deliver. True insanity of our leaders and "theirs" the Commie ones. Our leaders right now cannot be trusted they care ZIP for us, and build the best bunkers in the world for themselves,  since they and there ilk must survive. Sure why not ? or maybe just maybe we will again at some point become enlightened. End the endless wars and settle and explore our Solar System. The only way to go forward is to end the silly tribalism and actually accept for every human a Bill of Rights just like the USA original. It did happen once so it is possible, you just have to make it so. Happy New Year everyone.

3rd time 's the charm

 Remember when you got a vaccination back in the good old days and that was that. You didn't need back up shots and didn't get the disease either. Well guess that was a dream or maybe the Science is not right yet?

 Why we can't just get along!

Mother's Day was spent with my daughter this year. My mother passed away two years ago as did my wife's mother so a visit to the North country of Arizona was in order for the weekend. My daughter works in Showlow Az hospital and had most of the weekend off. Sunday we left to go up in the Apache Sitgreaves National park up near Alpine Az we took trail 177 heading West and decided to check out Carino Lake ~64 acre lake with fishing "trout" and some boating at 9,000 ft elevation. There were only two groups camping at the lake and maybe 4 or 5 other camping sites we saw as we took the back road back to Vernon and then to Showlow, Az . We saw some elk on the trip back but it took about 20 seconds for me to get my camera ready "cold fingers" so I didn't get any pictures of the wildlife. We had a Saburu suv with all wheel drive which was fine for that main trail but be aware that if you decide to take some side trails they are not well maintained and a serious off road vehicle would be required. The wife and I did stop at two casinos one in Pinetop the Apache White Mountain and the other down in Payson on the way home. My wife lost it all and I was up $10 at Pinetop and another $110 in Payson so yep we balanced out again. The casino were open with very strict mask and shields around the one arm bandits. Mask were mandatory in Payson with just a few machines with side shields. One thing I noticed is for the most part Northern Arizona seems to be clear of covid problems for the most part. My other daughter did visit my granddaughters Great grandmother in Pine , Az and strict protocol was in order due to her advanced age. No campfires are allowed in any of the parks in Arizona due to forest fires since the vegetation is very dry.

Journalism should not take sides on any story they present as news. Don't be fooled again

Yep this be a trap, pass it on. The Left loves to use red was the big give away. Well that sounded good at least wait, dance along the line or as I heard when I was young " give them enough rope" you know the rest. I set it out on January 6 and just follow along until it feels right. These people are phony and while not stupid just to deep into control freak syndrome or CFS I just made that up but it sure rings true. Anyway may the force be with you.

The election is 5 days away. I really can't grasp how Biden/Harris could win this election unless they cheat. Something not unknown for the Demoncrat party. I still remember the 1964 election between LBJ and Barry Goldwater. I still lived in Pa and 8th grade was the first year I became aware of Politics. According to LBJ and company Goldwater would drag us into war yadayada. By 1968 LBJ had us deep into the Vietnam War and told the public he would not seek or run for POTUS in 1968. I wonder what some alternate Universe looks like that didn't have to go through Johnson's Great Society,Vietnam War and all the other crap he left for the USA as a legacy. Only Jimmy Carter made LBJ look not so bad when Carter became POTUS in 1976. He didn't get 4 more years. I think Trump will win next week. Someone has to put the PRC in there place and stop there run to be the Worlds only Super Power.  update:" Screwed the pooch on that one. When you get old a lot of life isn't as much fun, ache and pains. The one thing I look forward to is seeing my Granddaughter. When she is losing her baby teeth so much the better. Just love this young lady so much and she has a wicked sense of humor. Going to have to see how much the old tooth fairy left for her since she lost 3 in a row, and a quarter a tooth or less doesn't cut it like it did over 60 years ago. Thank God mommy got the dentist bill for the braces and stuff. Back when I grew up I know the boys didn't get the cosmetic stuff.

Rick & Morty great show worth watching

Rick & Morty The 4th season finished up a few weeks ago and missing the show already. I realize a lot of thought and planning goes into each show but 10 episodes a year kinda sucks,my opinion. I know this type of adult animation doesn't appeal to everyone but for many people since it has aired Rick & Morty has become a staple of juvenile humor with just a touch of insanity, but good insanity. I don't often rewatch TV shows but this one you can find little easter egg jokes you may have missed the first time around. If you are not familiar with this show give it a try on Hulu and I believe being repeated on HBO. The show first runs are shown on the cartoon network. Enjoy.

The Political System

The Democrats and Republican two party system in place for so long has brought us numerous wars, $20 trillion in debt and a government that's grown well beyond its usefulness. There is little leadership seen in many decades and the systems we see are either a good old boy attitude or the use of a divide and conquer strategy against the electorate.Both parties are quite good at the blame game but if you believe either party supports freedom,liberty and has your welfare and the nations welfare as a keystone to their policies, well you're wrong. The only welfare ever considered by any politician has been there reelection. The only thing the bureaucracy created in DC has as a theme is to justify their existence. They are not elected officials so in many cases they are used as shock troops to divide a nation by enforcing rules and regulations in a manner that creates inferior policies. Policies that are always political in nature and not designed to better the lifes or nature of existence. To access this control all one has to do is throw money at it. Why else would a lobby system exist in our Nation capitol except for a means to buy and sell the candidate who get elected. Make no mistake the Mr Smith goes to Washington for the benifit of our society is rarely what happens. The political machine which is a ying/yang or both sides of the same coin ideology creates the candidates and directs their behavior. The puppetmasters are the wealthy and none of them agree on anything since wealth has distorted their view of reality. One has only to read the preamble to the Constitution to understand what true leadership and the role of Government is. "We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."  That my friends is what the people in Congress,the Whitehouse and the Supreme Court are supposed to be doing. Its about the Constitution stupid. American Nazi Party= World Union of Free Enterprise National Socialists. The name was changed in 1960 by George Lincoln Rockwell the founder. If you notice the so called German-American Bund aka Hitler's American Nazi Party was actually approved by Adolf Hitler. To confuse since even these people are divided you have factions of National Socialist White People's Party. Being naturally curious I wonder in what Universe does one equate these obvious "Spcialist Parties" as far Right? My belief is that the Left and Progressive movements found their brother and sister socialist so repulsive they branded them as "Far Right". Remember even Hitler found the Communist brand of socialism so competitive he started Operation Barbarossa to bring the Soviets under his brand of Socialism. The point is that believe what you want but know that no true conservative,capitalist or libertarian would ever embrace nor condone these obvious socialist idealist movements. No Surprises

Flower pigs in Sedona,Arizona surprise? Well maybe not but sometimes life throws a surprise our way and flower pigs become more common place. I'm not talking about a surprise party or the big credit card bill you got back in January. No these can be expected so no surprise. What I' driving at is life changing surprises. How you go along every day and no big deal and suddenly one day you find that going to sleep is starting to be a big deal,or perhaps little things grow into big deals. My deal right now is that I'm fearing death and having panic attacks for no good reason. So why get all twisted up over so many things you can't control. Good question and I haven't a clue? I've lost interest in watching TV and find reading more difficult and lost my groove. I'm thinking cabin fever because it is Summer time and in the Phoenix area that means hot temperatures ,bad air quality because of wildfires and just normal pollution so you spend a lot of time indoors,or at least I do. I'm sure that is part of it but I'm getting older and feeling it more. The disability problems I've had for 16 years or so are not getting better and little good news is happening. Everything has fallen into a black or white category with little to none of those gray areas we use to cherish. Life has gotten to serious and really is not so great that I should be fearing dying or having panic attacks. I'm feeling that meditation of some sort is a good start to learning to return to an easier and less fearful way of life. The problem is reading and doing with acceptance this meditation is difficult right now but I have to change some paradigms to get back to where I was a few months ago. Carefree and full of confidence well something close to that will be acceptable. I just need a return to a less stressful life. It would seem some people thrive on stress these days but I'm just getting to old for that way and noticing my life is changing for many reasons and they all relate to getting old. I know 67 years old is not such an old age these days but some of us have higher mileage on our chassis and a disability or several disabilities is starting to add up and not in a positive way. I'm seeing more and more of our friends and people we know are dying because as we get older that is what happens. So the push is going to be learn to relax again. Yes I use to be able to do this so just go back to how I looked at things in my earlier life and toss off this yoke of fear that seems to be a problem now and just feel different. Be myself and relax that is what I need to do and it sounds like good advise for anyone these days.
